For many, to talk about politics and religion is taboo. To some, the term "Christian soldier" is redundant, as though to be one is to be the other. To others, the term "Christian soldier" is mutually exclusive, because being one prohibits being the other.
To a few, however, the term is inescapably personal; Christian soldiers cannot be reduced simply to an either/or. This page is for them, to connect up with others for whom religion and politics, God and country, are forever bound up in an oath, a uniform, a tear shed, or blood spilled.
Christians soldiers past & present know that who and what they are is complicated, that armed service and Christian faith runs deeper than caustic ideologies and political sloganeering. This page is meant to connect Christian soldiers to one another and to communities equipped to think more deeply about the intersection of Chrisitian faith and armed service.
